Rimon Law has added complex litigator Dennis Raglin, who handles product liability, pharmaceutical, medical device and Prop 65 defense and litigation, as a partner in its San Francisco office.
Mr. Raglin joins Rimon from Sedgwick LLP, where he was a member of the life sciences group and served as co-chair of the firm’s Proposition 65 and green chemistry practice.
Mr. Raglin has over twenty years of extensive litigation experience and has tried cases to verdict, including to defense verdict. In his Proposition 65 and green chemistry practice, in addition to defending clients who have received notices of violation or are involved in litigation, Mr. Raglin advises companies large and small before litigation on minimizing their risk and employing best practices to ensure compliance.
Mr. Raglin has defended a wide variety of clients in the fields of: over-the-counter and prescription pharmaceuticals and medical devices regulated by the FDA; automobiles; heavy equipment and power tools; food and dietary supplements; apparel and footwear; sporting goods; home furnishings; and cosmetics and personal care. He has also defended numerous clients in all types of litigation, including: personal injury cases involving catastrophic injuries and death; premises liability; contract disputes; and government entities sued for statutory violations. His clients have included Fortune 500 and international corporations, insurance carriers, wineries, retail establishments, government agencies, and small emerging companies
Mr. Raglin is the fourth new partner to join Rimon this year, and the fourth litigation partner to join in the firm’s San Francisco office in the past year. Rimon’s expanding litigation group has been a critical component of the firm’s highly innovative, full-service team of attorneys operating in 17 offices internationally. Rimon and its founders have been recognized by the Financial Times on multiple occasions as well as the American Bar Association’s ABA Journal, Harvard Law School, and Stanford Law School for innovation in the practice of law. Rimon has also been recognized by Chambers, Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers, and many others for excellence.
Mr. Raglin received his J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law and his B.A. from the University of California at Riverside.
“Rimon has focused on growing its litigation team, and adding Dennis is a real boost to this goal. Our partners are continually brought in for complex litigation work, and they are able to handle matters across the full range of industries. Dennis’ role as a top counsel on product liability and Prop 65 work make him a natural addition to our team,” said Michael Moradzadeh, Rimon Law’s CEO and Founding Partner.
