Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck is pleased to announce that Gamble T. Parks will join the firm’s Corporate & Business Department as a shareholder in its Santa Barbara office. Parks is a certified specialist in estate planning, trust and probate law by the California Board of Legal Specialization. Previously, she was a partner at Fell, Marking, Abkin, Montgomery, Granet & Raney, LLP.

Parks ensures her clients seamlessly navigate the often complex process of estate planning and administration. As a certified specialist in estate planning, trust and probate law by the California Board of Legal Specialization, she draws on two decades of substantive experience to assist high-net-worth individuals, families and fiduciaries in estate planning, trust and estate administration as well as contests, property tax, charitable and business succession planning. Parks is a board member of several Central Coast nonprofit and civic organizations, including Cottage Health, the Music Academy of the West and the Santa Ynez Family School.
Parks joins a team of corporate attorneys in Brownstein’s California offices that includes: Shareholder George Short who has 40 years of experience serving as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth individuals, family offices and private investors; Shareholder Michelle Pickett, an experienced transactional attorney and outside general counsel to corporations, partnerships and nonprofits; Senior Counsel Steve Jung, another certified specialist in estate planning, trust and probate law; as well as Of Counsel Christine Ray who has a master of law in estate planning and practices exclusively in the areas of estate planning and trust and estate administration.

Parks earned her law and bachelor’s degrees from Washington and Lee University.
