Law firm Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy represented the BTG Pactual Corporate Office Fund, a commercial real estate fund managed by leading Brazilian investment bank BTG Pactual, in the reopening of the fund. This has been touted as Brazil’s first international REIT offering.
The offering brought in a total of R$2.3 billion (US$1.2 billion) and drew interest from institutional and retail investors in Brazil, as well as institutional investors in the US and Europe.
The fund was represented by Milbank Securities partner Tobias Stirnberg, along with Tax partners Joel Krasnow and Andrew Walker, regulatory partner Win Brown, as well as associates Felipe Camara and Joanna Grossman.
