Proskauer Rose posts a 19% increase in revenues for the year 2007. 2006’s figure of $514.3m (£262m) increased to $627.8m (£320m). Profits per partner (PEP) has grown 15% to reach $1.5m (£763,000). This is good news following Proskauer’s 2007s launch of offices in London, as well as Sao Paulo.

Allen & Overy Heads to Brazil
Allen & Overy is considering a move to South America with a new branch in Brazil. Leading the project are co-managing partners Ian Shrank and Bruno Soares, and the new office should be open in Sao Paulo within the next six months.

Proskauer Rose Opens Sao Paulo Office
Proskauer Rose has opened an office in Sao Paulo, Brazil. This will be the second foreign office for New York-based Proskauer; the firm has seven U.S. offices and one in Paris. Partner Antonio Piccirillo will relocate from New York to head the new office. He specializes in Latin American finance transactions, especially in Mexico and Brazi.
