Lewis Brisbois is pleased to welcome Heath Fox to its Seattle office as a partner in the Healthcare Practice.
Dedicated to serving the people in the healthcare profession who work hard to help others, Fox focuses his civil litigation practice on the defense of claims against hospitals, physicians, nurses, long-term care facilities, and other healthcare professionals. He also consults on health law and guardianship issues.
“Heath Fox adds to the expertise and strength in our health law practice,” according to Seattle Managing Partner and Healthcare Practice Co-Chair Drew Cass. “His litigation experience and skills in defense of healthcare professionals, guardianship, and other healthcare matters are a great fit with our expanding practice in Washington and the Pacific Northwest.”
In his career, Fox has obtained verdicts in cases involving wrongful death, surgical complications including paralysis and other permanent disabilities, and alleged “never events.”
“I am excited to join Lewis Brisbois and take advantage of its expanded capabilities, from case work-up through trial,” Fox said. “It is easy to see how this strong platform can help deliver better value and great results for my clients.”
Beyond his busy practice, Fox is a law school lecturer and volunteers as an attorney mentor for the Washington Medical-Legal Partnership, which is dedicated to helping people in vulnerable populations during times of crisis.
