Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani welcomes Kyle J. Rekofke as a partner in the firm’s Seattle office. He is a member of the Professional Liability Defense and Construction practice groups. Rekofke joins the firm from Lee Smart P.S.
Rekofke’s practice includes all areas of civil defense litigation. His professional liability practice focuses on the defense of malpractice claims and governmental licensing issues against physicians, dentists, and veterinarians, as well as attorneys, accountants, real estate brokers, and design professionals.
His construction practice focuses on the representation of developers, general contractors, and subcontractors arising out of claims from both residential and commercial projects.
While in law school, he was awarded the CALI Excellence for the Future Award for academic achievement in litigation skills. After law school, he worked as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert H. Whaley in United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington.

He is admitted to practice in Washington and is a member of the Washington State Bar Association.
He earned his law degree from University of Washington School of Law and his undergraduate degree from University of Oregon.
