Recently, foreign-related litigation, arbitration and maritime experts Niu Lei and Li Chen Biao joined the Shanghai office as partners. Their admission would further promote the rapid development of the law firm in the area.
Below is the brief introduction of Mr. Niu Lei and Mr. Li Chenbiao.
Niu Lei
Niu Lei graduated from China University of Political Science and Law with an LLB degree, University of International and Business with an LLM degree and University of Hong Kong with an LLM degree. Mr. Niu had worked at CIETAC (China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission) and CMAC (China Maritime Arbitration Commission) for many years, and then he has practiced as a lawyer mainly dealing with arbitration and litigation in domestic law firms for many years, and is well experienced in settling disputes arising out of FDI, M&A, international trade, real estate, ship building/sale/financing.
In addition, Mr. Niu is an arbitrator of CIETAC, CMAC and HKIAC (Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre) and member of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He has been appointed as presiding arbitrators/sole arbitrators/co-arbitrators in nearly 100 domestic and international arbitration cases, and has extensive arbitration experience.
Li Chenbiao
Li Chenbiao graduated from Dalian Maritime University. Mr. Li had worked at COSCO Guangzhou to handle insurance and claim disputes for many years, and then joined a famous shipping law firm as a lawyer from 1999, and is well experienced in settling disputes arising out of shipping, insurance, international trade, air transportation, etc.
