DLA Piper announced today that Kevin Grant has joined the firm’s Corporate practice as a partner in Short Hills, New Jersey.
Grant represents strategic and financial buyers and sellers in both domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions. He also represents emerging growth companies and investors in matters involving early- and late-stage venture capital, growth equity and private equity transactions. In addition, he advises emerging growth companies on matters involving equity and incentive structures, corporate governance, employment and intellectual property.
“Kevin is a skilled and well-regarded lawyer whose extensive experience in private equity, venture capital and mergers and acquisitions work will be immediately valuable to our clients,” said John Gilluly, co-chair of the firm’s US Corporate practice. “In particular, his focus on the life sciences and technology sectors complements our existing capabilities and will be a strong addition to our national practice.”

Grant received his J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law and his B.A. from Amherst College.
