WilmerHale’s Growth in Palo Alto Continues with Arrival of Experienced Corporate Partner

WilmerHale is pleased to announce the arrival of Glenn Luinenburg, who joins the firm’s Palo Alto office as a partner in the Transactional Department and Corporate Practice. Luinenburg is an experienced corporate lawyer with a diverse practice focused on the representation of technology clients. He has completed transactions for companies at all stages of development, from IPOs and acquisitions involving multibillion-dollar global enterprises to work for entrepreneurial technology start-ups and venture capital firms.

Luinenburg joins WilmerHale from Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he worked with technology start-ups and later stage public and private companies on a variety of corporate and corporate finance matters for more than 12 years. He has completed more than 100 public offerings and venture capital financings involving the issuance of equity and debt securities, representing issuers, underwriters and investors. He also has significant M&A expertise, representing both public and private companies on buy and sell side transactions. In addition, Luinenburg regularly counsels public company boards of directors, management teams, and investors on the governance and regulation of business entities and securities laws.

WilmerHale’s corporate lawyers are renowned for their work in initial public offerings, venture capital, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances, corporate governance matters and the representation of start-up companies. Luinenburg is a regular faculty member for Practising Law Institute (PLI) and a guest lecturer at Santa Clara Law School. He is also a member of the Subcommittee on Transactional Documents and Issues of the American Bar Association’s Committee on Venture Capital and Private Equity. Luinenburg earned his JD from the University of Western Ontario in 1996 and his MBA from Ivey School of Business in 1998. He began his legal career with the law firm of McCarthy Tétrault in Canada and is admitted to the bar in California and Canada.
