Goodwin Strengthens Technology Capital Markets and M&A Offering on West Coast with Partners Stuart Ogg and Micheal Reagan

Global law firm Goodwin announced today that Stuart Ogg and Micheal Reagan joined the firm’s Technology practice, resident in the Silicon Valley office. They both join from Jones Day in Palo Alto.

“Stuart and Micheal are extraordinary additions to the firm as the pace of capital markets and M&A activity continues to accelerate,” said Anthony McCusker, co-chair of Goodwin’s Technology practice. “Their extensive experience perfectly complements the skillsets of our existing teams on the West Coast and globally, and strengthens our ability to deliver comprehensive service to clients throughout all stages of their corporate lifecycles.”

Ogg represents issuers, underwriters, and investors in a variety of capital markets transactions, including IPOs, high yield and convertible debt offerings, tender offers and exchange offers, restructurings, and private equity and venture capital investments. He counsels clients on complex U.S. federal securities law disclosure and compliance issues, as well as NYSE and Nasdaq listing and corporate governance matters. Ogg has extensive experience in public and private M&A and transactions involving SPACs. He has also advised clients on corporate and securities law matters in high-profile bankruptcy and restructuring matters.

Reagan advises buyers and sellers of public and private enterprises on a wide range of domestic and cross-border M&A transactions. His experience includes strategic acquisition and sale transactions, business acquisitions and divestitures, tender and exchange offers, corporate consolidation transactions, asset acquisition and sale transactions, and joint ventures and other strategic partnering arrangements. In addition to mergers and acquisitions, Reagan has experience in private and public securities offerings, corporate finance, corporate governance, and general corporate matters representing emerging growth, privately held, and publicly traded companies as well as venture capital and private equity firms.

Ogg and Reagan join Goodwin at a time of continuous expansion for the firm’s Technology practice, which has added nearly 50 lawyers this year to date.
