Jones Day Welcomes Intellectual Property Litigator Michael Hendershot to Silicon Valley Office

The global law firm Jones Day has announced that Michael Hendershot has joined the Firm’s Intellectual Property Practice as a partner in its Silicon Valley Office.

A first-chair litigator with a focus on patent and technology trial work for nearly two decades, Mr. Hendershot has successfully represented clients in jurisdictions across the United States, including jury wins in the Eastern District of Texas and the District of Delaware.

Mr. Hendershot has represented clients in a diverse array of cutting-edge technologies for mobile devices, computer hardware, software, voice activation, semiconductor technology, e-commerce, digital broadcasting and wireless networking, chemical manufacturing processes, medical implants, photonics, and health care.

In addition to his trial work, Mr. Hendershot has considerable experience developing and leading strategies that leverage Patent Office challenges to drive litigation results. These include post grant review proceedings including reexaminations, inter partes reviews and covered business method challenges on behalf of a number of industry leaders.
