Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton announced today the addition of Vincent I. Parrett to the Silicon Valley office. Mr. Parrett will serve as a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department and will be a member of the Complex Commercial Litigation Team. He joins from Bergeson, LLP.

Mr. Parrett has more than two decades of experience as a trial attorney working on both plaintiff and defendant litigation. He has represented C-Suite technology executives and founders, companies, and majority shareholders in more than 100 trials of high-value, sophisticated business litigation. Mr. Parrett analyzes claims, protects rights, and tries cases related to breach of contract, fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, and numerous commercial disputes. His litigation proficiency spans the spectrum of business disputes, including shareholder actions; securities litigation; fraud; breach of stock agreements; breach of contract and defamation; and intentional interference with contractual relations.

Early in Mr. Parrett’s career, he served his country as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy Judge Advocate Corps. Later, he participated in victim rights litigation related to the tragic events of 9/11.
Mr. Parrett is a leader in the legal profession and the community. He was the 2020 Chair of the Santa Clara County Bar Association Civil Practice Committee. Mr. Parrett is active in the Federation of Defense & Corporate Counsel, Association of Business Trial
Lawyers, and the Honorable William A. Ingram American Inn of Court. He has served as a faculty member of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy. Mr. Parrett provides pro bono services to the civil justice system including through his service in the Santa Clara County Bar Association’s Civil Practice Committee. He has been named Trial Lawyer of the Year by the social-impact organization Public Justice. Mr. Parrett is recognized as a Northern California Super Lawyer.
Mr. Parrett earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law and his B.A., cum laude, from Yale University. He also attended the U.S. Naval Justice School.
