Prominent Technology M&A Partner Joins Baker Botts in Silicon Valley

Baker Botts L.L.P., a leading international technology, energy and life sciences law firm, announced today that Jason Rabbitt-Tomita has joined the firm as a partner in the Corporate Department in Palo Alto. He was previously a partner in the Mergers and Acquisitions practice at Paul Hastings in Palo Alto.

Rabbitt-Tomita has 20 years of experience in technology M&A on both the buy-side and sell-side, with a focus on U.S. and cross-border acquisitions as well as complex joint ventures. He has been the lead adviser on many notable M&A transactions for some of the world’s most well-known tech companies. He was named a “California Lawyer of the Year” by the Daily Journal in 2016.

Rabbitt-Tomita earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2002 and received his B.A. in 1998 from Brown University, where he graduated magna cum laude.
