Jones Day Singapore Adds Lateral Partners to Global Disputes and Energy Practices

The global law firm Jones Day has announced that Matthew Skinner and Darren Murphy have joined the Firm’s Singapore Office as partners in the Global Disputes and Energypractices, respectively.

Mr. Skinner has practiced in London, Sydney, and Singapore for almost 20 years. He has extensive experience in court and arbitration tribunals (SIAC, LMAA, ICC and CAS), in addition to mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. Mr. Skinner’s practice has particular emphases on international arbitration, contractual disputes, and regulatory investigations. He serves clients across a range of industries, including energy and resources, financial institutions, and manufacturing. Prior to joining Jones Day, Mr. Skinner headed the Southeast Asian dispute resolution practice for an international firm.

Mr. Murphy has practiced for nearly 20 years in Australia, Singapore, and the U.S. He has extensive experience with mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and development of projects throughout Asia, including in Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, China, Mongolia, Thailand, PNG, Cambodia, and Australia.
