Dentons Rodyk & Davidson LLP, member of the world’s largest law firm, Dentons, is pleased to announce that John Dick has joined the firm as part of its Energy & Resources and Infrastructure practice and its South East Asia regional practice.
John brings with him 27 years’ legal expertise in South East Asia particularly:-
•in Resources where John has advised on all aspects of mining projects across South East Asia and Australia, with particular emphasis on Indonesia;
•in Oil & Gas where he has advised on exploration for and development of oil and gas resources;
•in Energy where he has advised on the development of captive, IPP and merchant power projects, power sales and purchase agreements and construction and procurement contracts;
•in Infrastructure where he has advised on projects in telecommunications, water and waste, social infrastructure development, road and rail, port development and industrial park development; and
•in Mergers and Acquisitions where he has advised on investments across the region in a number of industries including, in addition to the above areas, FMCG, pharmaceutical, heavy industry and services.
John’s involvement in South East Asia began some years ago when he was in Freehills (which later became Herbert Smith Freehills) where he helped set up and run offices in Vietnam and Singapore. John joins Dentons Rodyk after a few years at EY.
