Hogan Lovells announced today that Bryan Paisley will be joining the firm as a partner in the Finance practice later this month, based in the Sydney office. He will be joining from Baker McKenzie in Sydney where he has been a partner for 13 years. Prior to joining Bakers, Bryan worked at Lovells (as it then was) in the London office from 1997 to 2005 including a secondment in Frankfurt in 2000 following the Boesebeck Droste merger.
Bryan is an established corporate finance lawyer who regularly acts for banks, investors and borrowers in connection with corporate bank/finance facilities, leveraged and acquisition finance transactions, property financings, secondary debt transactions and distressed refinancings.
Commenting on Bryan’s arrival, Global Head of the Hogan Lovells Finance practice Matthew Cottis, said: “Bryan’s arrival represents the latest step in our plan for the building out of the Australian practice.
