Martin Burke has joined Holland & Knight’s Tampa office as a partner in the Tampa Litigation Group. Mr. Burke represents corporate and government clients in high-risk and complex litigation matters in state and federal courts throughout the country. He was previously a partner with Burr & Forman.
Mr. Burke has more than 20 years of experience in business, tort, governmental and fiduciary litigation at both the trial and appellate levels. His representations have ranged from consumer class actions to business disputes to personal injury and product liability matters. Mr. Burke is recognized as a leading commercial litigator by The Best Lawyers in America and by Super Lawyers, and maintains an “AV Preeminent” rating from Martindale-Hubbell. He also currently serves as chair of the Federal Bar Association’s Federal Torts Committee.

Mr. Burke earned a J.D. degree from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.S. degree from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. Before college, Mr. Burke served in the United States Marine Corps and later as a Birmingham police officer. He is admitted to practice law in Florida, Mississippi and Alabama.
