Latham & Watkins Expands Global White Collar Defense & Investigations and Antitrust Team in Tokyo

Latham & Watkins LLP is pleased to announce that Kaede Toh has joined the firm’s Tokyo office as a partner in the Litigation & Trial Department and the White Collar Defense & Investigations Practice. A seasoned litigator, Toh’s practice focuses on white-collar criminal defense and antitrust enforcement actions brought by the US Department of Justice as well as non-US regulators. She has extensive experience advising multinational corporations and individuals in a variety of government investigations, internal investigations, and civil litigation. Toh joins Latham & Watkins from Ropes & Gray in Tokyo.

Toh also conducts anti-corruption diligence in M&A and private equity transactions as well as risk assessments for private equity portfolio companies, advises clients on implementing compliance and anti-corruption policies, and counsels clients on intellectual property litigation matters.
