Dentons has strengthened its Canadian corporate capabilities with the addition of partner Michael C. DeCosimo in Toronto. Michael joins the firm from Cassels and brings over 20 years’ experience practicing corporate and securities law.
Michael advises public and private companies and boards of directors on a variety of matters ranging from significant transactions to day-to-day governance, with a focus on M&A, corporate finance, strategic negotiations, corporate governance, investment funds and private equity. He also acts for underwriters and agents in connection with public and private financings.

Michael C. DeCosimo is the second partner to join Dentons Canada in recent months, following the Montréal office’s addition of litigator Emil Vidrascu in June.
