She has been recognized by Chambers Global as a leading lawyer in the areas of banking & finance and capital markets and is listed as a leading individual in Legal 500 Canada 2015 & 2014 in the area of capital markets and in Legal 500 UK for each year between 2008-2012 for derivatives & structured products and securitizations.
Elana has a particular strength in advising companies, banks and funds on domestic and international debt offerings, investment management, cross-border transactions and capital markets products in the UK and continental Europe, the US and Canada. She advises non-Canadian businesses on establishing operations and carrying on business in Canada, and works with Canadian clients establishing operations and carrying on business in Europe.
