Opening its 26th office globally, Rimon Law welcomes Private Client, Tax, and Trusts & Estates Partner Brent Nelson to its new Tucson, Arizona office. Mr. Nelson joins Rimon from Snell & Wilmer, where he also worked as a Partner.
At Rimon, Mr. Nelson will be joining an award-winning, national Trusts and Estates team which includes partners Patricia Annino and Lisa Weinstein Burns in Boston, Scott Ross in Menlo Park, Filmore Rose in Seattle, and Roy Kozupsky in New York and Boston. The Trusts and Estates team works closely with the Tax, Private Client, and International teams to ensure that Rimon’s clients benefit from full-spectrum representation. With Rimon’s decentralized business model, Mr. Nelson can customize his practice to fit the specific needs of each of his clients.
Mr. Nelson assists U.S. and international individuals, families and financial institutions in tax, estate planning and family business matters. He develops estate plans in a wide variety of circumstances, from basic estate plans to complex plans for high net worth individuals and families. He also assists them with related business succession and charitable goals.
Mr. Nelson provides estate and tax planning services for clients with international business, trust and family interests. This includes Americans with property or family in foreign countries, and non-Americans with property or family in the United States. He helps his clients navigate complex trust, estate and tax rules; structure cross-border estate plans and businesses; administer cross-border estates and trusts; and comply with IRS reporting rules

Mr. Nelson earned his LL.M., Tax, Certificate in Estate Planning from Georgetown University Law Center, his J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law and a B.S. in Political Science from Northern Arizona University.
