Baker McKenzie Strengthens International, Commercial and Trade Capabilities with Hire of Agnieszka Skorupińska in Warsaw

Global law firm Baker McKenzie today announces that Agnieszka Skorupińska has joined as a partner in its International, Commercial and Trade practice. Based in the Warsaw office, she will lead the local sustainability and energy transition practice. Agnieszka’s hire underscores Baker McKenzie’s commitment to supporting clients navigating the evolving demands of the global energy market.

Agnieszka Skorupińska brings extensive experience advising clients on energy, industrial and infrastructure projects. Her expertise spans energy projects, environmental protection, natural resources and ESG regulations. She has a proven track record in supporting businesses with decarbonization strategies, sustainability goals and reporting as well as compliance with circular economy regulations in their own activities and investments. Agnieszka also advises on the regulatory aspects of M&A/PE transactions and greenfield direct investments, particularly in the energy, chemicals, construction, packaging and food sectors.

Agnieszka has spent most of her professional career in Energy and Projects departments of international law firms. She is highly recognized in international and Polish legal directories and rankings, including Chambers & Partners (Band 1) and The Legal 500 (Rising Star). She also contributes to developing European Sustainability Reporting Standards at the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group (EFRAG).
