Adrienne Clair Joins Thompson Coburn’s Nationally-Recognized Utilities Practice as Partner

Thompson Coburn is pleased to announce that Adrienne E. Clair has joined its Utilities practice in Washington, D.C. She was previously a partner and co-chair of the Energy, Mining, Transportation and Telecommunications Division at Stinson Leonard Street.

With 20 years of experience, Adrienne advocates on behalf of her clients on electric and natural gas matters before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), including proceedings to enforce the FERC’s rules for open access transmission service, formation and operation of regional transmission organizations, and proceedings on natural gas pipeline rates. Adrienne also assists clients in compliance matters, including enforcement actions and auditing existing compliance programs.

Sources praise her strategic approach to advising clients.” She is past president of the Energy Bar Association and a founding co-chair of the Women’s Bar Association’s Energy Forum. Adrienne earned her J.D. at The George Washington University and her B.A. degree, cum laude, from Hampton University.
