Balch & Bingham is pleased to announce that Lewis Csedrik joins the Washington D.C. office to expand the firm’s globally ranked Nuclear Energy Practice. Lewis brings over 20 years of experience representing clients in the nuclear industry, counseling clients on work environment issues, investigations and enforcement matters, whistleblower litigation, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR), before the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), U.S. Department of Energy, and other state and federal regulatory agencies, as well federal courts.
Lewis has experience representing clients throughout the nuclear industry, including electric utilities, nuclear suppliers, and other types of licensees, such as hospitals and industrial users of nuclear materials. In addition, Lewis assists clients with assessing and enhancing their safety conscious work environment and safety culture. He also provides training in these and other areas, including conducting and defending investigations and best practices to ensure complete and accurate reporting.

Lewis received his J.D. and M.S.E.L from Vermont Law School, where he was a Dean’s Fellow and senior managing editor of Vermont Law Review. In 2020, Lewis was a recipient of Law 360’s Distinguished Legal Writing Award.
