Brendan Wilson has joined Faegre Baker Daniels as a partner in the corporate and nonprofit organizations practices.
Wilson provides corporate and tax advice to clients engaged in transactional matters. He also counsels clients on nonprofit corporation, charitable trust law and other legal issues affecting nonprofit organizations.
Wilson has experience counseling private foundations on excise tax matters and advising nonprofit clients on unrelated business income tax issues. He also has experience seeking rulings and determinations from tax authorities and resolving tax controversies with federal, state and local taxing authorities. He advises a number of churches and religious organizations including religiously affiliated schools. He works regularly with clients engaged in international activities, frequently advising on international grantmaking issues, the creation of foreign affiliates and tax withholding issues.

Wilson joins from Caplin & Drysdale, where he was a partner. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Guelph, and his J.D. magna cum laude from Notre Dame Law School.
