Thomas Repke, who has extensive M&A private practice and in-house experience, has joined Covington as a partner in its Mergers and Acquisitions practice in Washington.
Most recently, Mr. Repke served as lead counsel for Tyco on all M&A, divestiture, joint venture, and investment transactions across all business units. While at Tyco, he helped successfully close over 100 such transactions. Previously, Mr. Repke was an M&A partner at a major international law firm.
With significant experience handling complex domestic and cross-border transactions, Mr. Repke will represent both public and private companies in a wide variety of corporate transactional matters. His practice will focus primarily on the representation of clients operating in regulated industries, including industrial, security, financial services, technology, government contracts, aerospace & defense, communications, and life sciences industries.

Mr. Repke received his B.A. from The College of William and Mary and a J.D. degree from the University of Virginia.
