Dentons Welcomes Sam Cullari to Federal Regulatory and Compliance Practice in Washington, DC

Resident in the Washington, DC, office, Cullari focuses his practice on the intersection of technology, privacy and data security. Prior to joining the firm, Cullari was privacy and regulatory Counsel in the Intellectual Property, Information and Innovation Practice Group of Reed Smith’s Litigation Department.

In his more than 20 years advising clients as both in-house and outside counsel, Cullari has advised large and small clients regarding legal risk management and mitigation, corporate compliance, transactions and critical incident response. His clients range from application service providers (ASPs) and software companies to financial services companies, manufacturers, retailers and utilities. He is well-versed in a broad range of federal, state and global privacy and data security laws and regulations, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and has particular experience in broadband and telecommunications law.
