Prominent Antitrust Adviser Tiffany Rider Joins Axinn in Washington, DC

Axinn is pleased to announce that Tiffany Rider has joined its Antitrust Group as a partner in the firm’s Washington, DC office.

Joining from Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP & Affiliates, Ms. Rider has over 15 years of experience focusing on criminal antitrust cartel investigations; follow-on antitrust class action litigation and arbitration; and complex mergers and acquisitions. Ms. Rider has defended companies and individuals in consequential international cartel cases, advocating before the Department of Justice, European Commission and Canadian Competition Bureau, among other global enforcement agencies.

In her counseling and compliance practice, she designs and implements global competition compliance programs for clients in diverse industries, including technology, manufacturing, transportation and financial services. Additionally, Ms. Rider has extensive experience representing clients on significant mergers and acquisitions, including before both the Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission.

Ms. Rider is a member of the American Bar Association’s International Cartel Task Force, and previously served as a Chair of the Civil Practice and Procedure Committee at the ABA. She was also named by Chambers USA among “America’s Leading Lawyers for Business 2018,” and in the Legal 500 U.S. She is a frequent speaker on panels regarding international competition developments, including follow-on European litigation.

Ms. Rider earned her JD from the Indiana University School of Law and her BA from the University of California, Los Angeles.
