Clark Hill today announced that William Sjoberg has joined the firm as a Member in its International Trade Law Practice in the firm’s Washington, DC office. Prior to joining Clark Hill, Sjoberg was a partner in both Porter Wright and Adduci, Mastriani & Schaumberg’s International Business & Trade practices.
“As we continue to expand our team in the Washington, DC office, we’re delighted that Will has decided to join us,” said Thomas Ragland, Managing Member of Clark Hill’s Washington, DC office. “Will brings to the office a depth of experience and an industry network that will be highly advantageous to clients across the board.”
Sjoberg has more than 25 years of experience representing clients in antidumping and countervailing duty matters before the Office of Enforcement and Compliance and the U.S. International Trade Commission, and on a variety of issues before U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

Sjoberg also represents clients in export control matters before the Bureau of Industry and Security, the Office of Foreign Assets Control and the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, and has extensive experience practicing before numerous administrative agencies, including the U.S. Department of Commerce, the International Trade Commission, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Department of the Treasury, U.S. Department of State and the Office of the United States Trade Representative.

He previously served as an Import Compliance Specialist in the Office of Enforcement and
Compliance of the Department of Commerce where he administered antidumping and countervailing duty cases, and as a Private Sector Project Manager in investment and export promotion with the United States Agency for International Development in Belize, Central America.
Sjoberg is active in numerous professional organizations, including serving on the Board of Directors for the Customs and International Trade Bar Association, where he is Chair of the Judicial Selection Committee. He is also a member of the Georgetown University Law Center, International Trade Update Advisory Board, and a member of the Advisory Committee of the Commercial Operations of U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Intellectual Property Rights working group.
Sjoberg earned his J.D. at Texas Tech University School of Law, his M.A. at the University of Texas at Austin Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs, and his B.B.A. at The University of Texas at Austin.
