Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP today announced that antitrust trial lawyer Katrina Robson has joined the Firm as a partner in the Antitrust & Competition Practice Group. She is based in Willkie’s Washington, DC office. A globally recognized antitrust litigator, Katrina has tried some of the most significant antitrust cases in recent years, including historic matters related to clearance for multi-billion-dollar mergers. Katrina was previously a partner at O’Melveny & Myers LLP.
Jeff Korn, Co-Chair of Willkie’s Antitrust & Competition Practice Group, commented: “Katrina is one of the foremost advisors in the antitrust litigation field. Her work on historic matters such as the $100 billion merger of AT&T and Time Warner in what has been called the ‘antitrust trial of the century’ demonstrates her position as a go-to advisor for some of the country’s most recognized companies. Her addition reflects our commitment to expand our antitrust and litigation practices to service our clients’ growing needs, and we are pleased to welcome her to the Firm.”
Katrina represents clients in complex, high-profile antitrust and competition litigation against both government agencies and private parties. Her representations include merger, single-firm conduct and restraint of trade cases, agency investigations, and private and government litigation. She also counsels clients on a variety of issues, including monopolization, vertical restraints and integration, merger advocacy and clearance, general antitrust compliance and global litigation strategy. She has been recognized by numerous legal publications and directories for her antitrust and litigation work. A leader in the legal community, Katrina serves as Vice Chair of the Insurance and Financial Services Committee in the ABA’s Antitrust Section, and also is a regular contributor to antitrust law publications.
“Willkie is highly-regarded for its integrated team of practitioners operating across offices and jurisdictions, who offer seamless and practical advice to clients facing challenging U.S. and cross-border antitrust matters,” Katrina commented. “I am excited to join the Firm’s talented team, adding to its existing capabilities in the U.S. and across the world.”
Katrina’s addition follows almost a dozen other high-profile lateral hires and promotions in Willkie’s Washington, DC office in the past year, including additions to the firm’s Securities Litigation & Enforcement, Compliance, Investigations & Enforcement, Willkie Digital Works, White-Collar Defense, and Litigation groups, among others.
Katrina is the sixth new partner in Willkie’s global Antitrust & Competition Group since 2021, following the additions of Boris Bronfentrinker, Elaine Whiteford, Nicola Chesaites and Michelle Clark in London, and Dr. Jens-Olrik Murach, who is based in Brussels and Frankfurt.
