Joseph Vallo has joined Locke Lord’s West Palm Beach office as a Partner in the Firm’s Business Litigation and Dispute Resolution Practice Group. Vallo joins the Firm from Greenberg Traurig LLP where he was a shareholder. Vallo has nearly 30 years of experience working in securities arbitration and compliance and will strengthen the Firm’s capabilities for clients faced with securities litigation and enforcement matters.
Vallo previously served as senior vice president and senior litigation counsel for Wachovia Securities LLC, now known as Wells Fargo Advisors LLC, where he supervised the firm’s major litigations and arbitrations. He was also senior vice president and director of compliance for TD Waterhouse Group Inc. and divisional compliance director at Salomon Smith Barney Inc., where he was also director of international private client group compliance.

Vallo focuses his practice on securities arbitration and mediation, securities litigation, and compliance and regulatory matters for securities and broker-dealer cases. He has wide-ranging experience in retail brokerage compliance in domestic and international markets.
